Imaginary Place of the Day:
Arnor - the northern kingdom of the Dúnedain, founded in the north of Middle-Earth. At its height the kingdom included most of the lands between the River Lhûn and the Misty Mountains excluding Rivendell and Hollin. The capital, Annúminas (Tower of the West), stood on the shores of Lake Nenuial, to the north of the area now known as the Shire.
